Ever since setting my greedy eyes on the pink faced Michael Kors watch (see my ‘Wishlist’ post), I have been obsessed with it. I love the chunky gold teamed with the girlie pink, and someone of minimal jewellery I feel it would go with all the bits I own.
Saying that… I have recently discovered a lovely brand called Shore Projects. They sell the most beautiful watches, and now my heart is torn. Shore Projects have four different watch faces to choose from, all with a different colour/style strap, they then sell alternative straps separately for you to mix and match your watch’s look with. Besides from the striking watch faces (my favourite is ‘Portland’ – the brushed gold with a white face), the fun colourful straps are what really sold the brand to me. With the straps at £20 each,on top of the hefty £115 watch cost, they aren’t cheap – but the innovative strap mechanism makes it easy to swap straps on a daily basis, so the look of the watch can change in just a few seconds (and can change to suit your outfit!) Look at how purty..!
Lucky enough I adore the mint strap that my fave ‘Portland’ comes with (hence the hearts), but I would also love to buy any of the pink, orange or grey straps too. Shore Project also sell leather and polka dot straps, so even though these aren’t my particular taste, I can see how there really is a Shore Project watch to fit anyone’s style. The website mimics the stylish simplistic feel the watches hold, and viewing the individual straps brings up instagram photographs of how others have styled theirs.
